When we say plant foods, we are talking about more than just fruits and vegetables. Plant foods include beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds, even starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes and potatoes.
Plant foods provide our bodies with phytonutrients and fiber that we aren’t able to get in other foods. In the video above I explain the importance of getting enough fiber, and the importance f phytonutrients.
